Vision Statement

MISA will work with our community to create an equitable society free of racism, in which all people are treated with dignity and respect.

MISA continues to move towards this vision by following our Operational Mission Statement and in focusing on our Values:

Operational Mission Statement

To celebrate diversity and to promote multiculturalism.

To increase the awareness of racism within our community; and to change the attitudes and behaviors that lead to racism.

To develop services and programs which provide an ongoing opportunity for immigrants and their families to learn to adapt to Canadian society. These services cover language, cultural, settlement and practical issues.

To network with, and educationally support, other agencies as they provide services to members of the multi-cultural community.
