Membership Information

We welcome new members to CRMISA.

MISA is always looking for members to join our dynamic and exciting organization. Joining MISA is making a commitment to the meaningfulness of Campbell River continuing to grown and embrace all members of the community.

All members are kept updated through our quarterly newsletter. These newsletters keep you informed of all activities, volunteer opportunities and community events. If any activity arises, our staff will call the membership list and let you know. As a member you are also eligible to participate in 2 training opportunities a year, usually in the spring or the fall. These trainings will reflect the needs of the members and volunteers.

We also have an Annual General Meeting, usually in late September or early October. All members are invited to attend. This is a yearly opportunity for all members to participate, to learn more about the Association, to volunteer for the board, to hear from staff and board about what direction MISA is going in. It is also a chance to share your own thoughts on the needs of Campbell River. Every voice counts.

Becoming a Member

Membership creates a small source of revenue for MISA. All these donations go towards supporting the many programs we provide. Becoming a member is easy. Just download our membership form (PDF, DOC or RTF) and send it in or drop it off. Or, come into the office and fill out an application form and pay the fee and you will be added to our mailing list.

The fees are reasonable at $5.00 for youth, $10.00 for an individual, $20.00 for a family and $30.00 for an organization. The dues are payable in January of each year. Our spring newsletter also provides a reminder and a renewal form for each member.
